Divisions
- Individual Male / Female (40 / 40 Spots)
- Masters 35+ Male/Female (10 / 10 Spots) (open to all athletes with date of birth on or before 30.11.1989)
- Masters 45+ Male/Female (5 / 5 Spots) (open to all athletes with date of birth on or before 30.11.1979)
- Masters 55+ Male/Female (5 / 5 Spots) (open to all athletes with date of birth on or before 30.11.1969)
- Teams of 2 Male/Male, Female/Female, Female/Male (40 / 30 / 30 Spots)
There is a separate qualifier and separate WODs for each division. You can register for more than one division if you meet the specific requirements.
Teams Divisions
TEAMS of 2: MALE/MALE
There is an overall qualifier for Teams of 2 division, depending on your qualification spot, you will added to the following division at the final event:
- Qualifier Rank 1-20 = Elite
- Qualifier Rank 21-40 = Intermediate
TEAMS of 2: FEMALE/MALE & FEMALE/FEMALE
There is an overall qualifier for Teams of 2 division, depending on your qualification spot, you will added to the following division at the final event:
- Qualifier Rank 1-10 = Elite
- Qualifier Rank 11-30 = Intermediate
1.5. Registration Fee
EARLY BIRD until 30.04.2024:
Individuals / Masters: 40€ incl. VAT excl. Circle 21 Fees
Teams of 2: 80€ incl. VAT excl. Circle 21 Fees
REGULAR from 01.05.2024:
Individuals / Masters: 50€ incl. VAT excl. Circle 21 Fees
Teams of 2: 100€ incl. VAT excl. Circle 21 Fees

1.6. Wild Cards for the Final Event
There will be NO WildCards for the final event.
1.7. Refunds
Austrian Throwdown will not offer any refunds after registration is completed.
1.8. Change of Team Members
Within the Teams Divisions there is NO change of team members allowed at any time after registration for the Online Qualifier until the end of the Final Event.

FAQ
Can i enter the online qualification in two or more different divisions?
Yes, you can enter the qualification is as many divisions as you want, as long as you match the necessary criteria. But be aware, that you can enter the finals in only ONE division. So in case that you qualify in two or more categories, you have to choose in which you want to start in the finals.
How long can i register for the online qualifier?
You can register for the online qualifier until the last day of qualification, which is 2nd of July 2023, 11:59PM
I can snatch more than the written benchmark, but i am not able to do HSPUs and have a slower FRAN record. Do i still count as Intermediate Athlete?
Yes, as written, all these benchmarks are guidelines. If you are a little bit better with Snatches but way worse with Fran, you still qualify as Intermediate Athletes. It is important, that your overall performance level is “Intermediate”. If you still are unsure, please send us some competitions that you attended in the past and your Open23 ranking via email info@austrianthrowdown.at and we will let you know if the Intermediate Division is the correct division for you.
Do i have to enter a video for my score?
Absolutely. All scores without a video link will not be accepted.
How many athletes do proceed to the final event?
You can find the corresponding spots in the list below:

When do i know, if i earned a spot in the finals?
The online qualifier ends on Sunday 25th of June. We will then need a few days to validate the scores. we will start sending out the invitations for the finals beginning with July 3rd. When we send out the invitations for the finals, you have 7 days to accept your spot. If you do not accept the spot within this timeframe, we will give your spot to the next athlete in line.
I registered for the online qualifier but now i am injured and cannot participate. Is there any refund of the registration fee?
We are sorry, but we cannot offer any refunds of the registration fee.
My team member is injured and cannot enter the qualification. Are we allowed to change a team member?
For Teams, there is NO change of team member allowed at ANY time after registration until end of finals.
Do i enter a summary score for the team or do i enter each score separately?
Each Team Member enters an individual score. The scores will be added in the system.
